The Ritz London wedding photography was always on my bucket list of wedding venues to work in, and I did! Just the mention of The Ritz hotel conquers many images of the pure luxuary of this world famous hotel. I have had the pleasure of visiting The Ritz several times in the past but this was the first occasion shooting a wedding there.

My clients live overseas and contact was made through email and Skype with every detail being discussed and planned with my clients and venues in advance of their wedding day. With every detail in place I arrived at The Ritz early. If I was on time I would be late. I always plan to arrive at the venue early which not only allows me to get my caffeine fix but also allowing me to scope the venue once again and start by capturing the venue and setting the scene.
The day started with bridal prep in The Salon in The Ritz, where I met Rebecca and her bridesmaids for the first time. After covering the bridal party preparation I then went doen St. James’s Street to the hallowed rooms of The Carlton Club to meet the groom Michael for some portrait photographs in and around the club. Then back up to The Ritz to capture the magic. I have enjoyed working at many top venues and as expected the management and staff at The Ritz was as one would have expected, first class and above, without exception and utter perfection!
Ceremony completed it was then on to the wedding breakfast. Just watching the staff attend to every guest was a pleasure in itself, amazing. Whilst I left the guests to enjoy the finest of dining I was then treated to the most amazing “cottage pie” The Ritz style. Never has such a simple wholesome dish tasted so incredible. Again, perfection and in the most incredible of settings.
After the wedding breakfast and speeches the guests continues the evening at the world famous Carlton Club.
