I have been looking forward to blog this particular wedding for a number of reasons and now here it is Meagan and Nick’s Leeds Castle Wedding! I have loved revisiting their wedding as this couple are simply awesome. They are very very much in love and have overcome much to find themselves together. They are beautiful people inside and out and have such wonderful family and friends which made me feel so very welcomed too. I photographed the pre-pre wedding prep and Meagan looked a million dollars, Nick scrubbed up well too!
Meagan and Nick come from and live in the USA and their dream of a romantic castle wedding certainly came true. The wedding celebrations at Leeds Castle were held over the the weekend, beginning on the Friday with an evening dinner. The couple’s family and close friends also joined them for a full weekend of wedding bliss. For me this was made even more special as Meagan & Nick invited me to join the party for the dinner. It was a sublime Summers weekend, an opportunity to see the couple again as I had met them in London earlier during the year for a London Engagement Shoot.
Following the Friday evenings diner the wedding party were able to relax and soak in the atmosphere of the castles stately rooms. The perfect place to reflect on their first day at Leeds Castle and to look forward to the Saturday morning in the amazing grounds and the wedding itself. Some guests chose to wonder the grounds, other to play a round of golf or as Meagan and Nick did went to the Falconry Centre to meet the birds of prey and to experience the flights up close and personal! Such an amazing morning.
Once the mornings events were over, it was back to the Castle to freshen up and get ready for the wedding ceremony. Whilst the couple and guests were getting ready I met with the Nicola from Hall of Cakes and Louise from Louise Root from Louise Roots Florist. No word of a lie both of these guys are true artists in their own field. Their work is exemplary and I can recommend them both. Having worked with both for more than 12 years they have created such beautiful work. Always a pleasure to work with them!
Meagan and Nicks ceremony was beautiful. Having got to know the family and friends I really did feel like I was part of the wedding party. Such wonderful people. As a Kent wedding photographer I get to see and travel all around the UK and overseas but photographing a wedding at Leeds Castle is always special. I sincerely hope that the wedding images give you an insight to their day. Meagan and Nick and I are now friends and when 2020 is behind us and they visit these shores we will certainly meet up and if I escape to the US a Harley tour with Nick is on the cards. Thank you guys. Thank you for being the beautiful you’s you are.
Your Queensberry Duo album is now in production. I hope you love the real thing as much as you loved the proof! Thank you.
