Wedding Photography in Kent and especially at Leeds Castle is always something I immensely look forward to. There is always a reason to take another shot with yet another backdrop! The interiors and the grounds offer so much opportunity.
There are three venues within the grounds of Leeds Castle to get married in or hold your wedding reception. There is the Castle itself, the Maiden’s Tower and Battel Hall. The Castle View Restaurant is available for larger guest numbers or having your reception only there as did Kate and Cameron as featured in this blog post.
Married at a local church in Wrotham their arrival to both the church and Leeds Castle was quite special as they arrived in some awesome classic cars! Their day was beautiful, right from the start and their day could not have been more perfect. Both Kate and Cameron live overseas and organising such a wedding could not have been easy. However, the day ran seamlessly and it was wedding day perfect!
When it came to the wedding portraits we were lucky enough to have two sessions. We took the opportunity to capture some further images after the wedding breakfast as the light was still good for photography. Whilst we did not have the money shot sunset we did have a calm evening which allowed the guests to use the terrace overlooking the Castle and grounds.
It was a super calm day and full of colour. With Cameron’s Scottish family connection and the use of sunflowers and thistles made for a perfect combination.
Huge thanks to the happy couple, family and friends.
