Lincolnshire Wedding photography down on the farm. Last Summer I photographed a really wonderful wedding on one very hot and sunny day.
Emily and Chris held their wedding Lincolnshire. A beautiful village church ceremony was followed by a wedding reception down on the family’s farm. Creating a wedding reception at a family home can take a lot of planning and hard work. However, the end result can be amazing and rewarding for all.
The farm specialises in rare breeds and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to meet with the four legged hosts. A marquee, hay bales, garden games and a farm to wander round, what more could one ask for. As a result a beautiful backdrop for all to enjoy. Furthermore the wedding breakfast was from produce from local suppliers. Top class food, totally scrumptious and the icing on the cake was a hog roast in the evening!
Apart from the farm being Emily’s family home, this was the place where Chris proposed – in the hay shed! See, romance is still alive and kicking. I took Emily and Chris for a little walk around the farm to capture couple shots. We had to have an image or two from the spot where Chris proposed. There was a moment or two where we had to be a little guarded. One was in a field of sheep, one moment they were distant away in a field. The next, they were charging towards us … I didn’t run!
The other moment was when we went into a field with a cow and its calf …. she wasn’t happy so we left …. fairly quickly!
Thank you once again guys, it was a super day!
