Emma & Matthew’s wedding took place last Summer, and as a Suffolk Wedding Photographer I was immensely happy to photograph and capture their day at Coppins Farm.
Coppins Farm is set on the Suffolk/Essex borders and offers more than a romantic woodland wedding opportunity. With some 150 acres of wildflower meadows and ancient woodlands it can also offer accommodation in the form of glamping and also the option of staying is stunning railway carriages.
Being a wedding photographer for over a decade I have photographed weddings in all sorts of environments and this venue was truly memorable. Emma and Matthews relaxed wedding ran seamlessly. Their ceremony took place in the beautiful woodland setting and the drinks reception and wedding breakfast being held in two tipis in the adjoining. This wedding was very much away from the busy urban hum drum day to day life and one being close to nature and surrounded by peace.
As with any wedding the weather can be a factor. As it happened we did have a mix of weather with at times the heavens opened up. This did not detract from the beauty of the day or affect the days proceedings. Everyone huddled in the tipis and railway coach bar until the weather past and then, normal service was resumed!
Emma and Matthews day was gorgeous and once the skies had cleared we were able to make use of the wild meadow and evening skies. The venue even when bathed in darkness had that festival atmosphere with candles. Firepits and twinkly lights, pure magic!
I want to thank Emma & Matthew and family and friends for such a wonderful day. Truly wonderful in every way!
