Wedding Photography at The Octagon, Norwich
Norwich offers a wealth of wedding venues and can boast of having the best complete medieval buildings and city layout. There are many incredible venues and locations for a Norfolk wedding photographer. In fact you are spoilt for choice!
Nikki and Daniel’s wedding ceremony was held at The Octagon, such a beautiful church with superb light. The wedding breakfast and party was held in The Great Hospital. Two really wonderful venues. Their wedding was held in early December which brings its challenges with low light and early sun set. However, with the right planning, no problem!
The wedding ceremony
The wedding ceremony was held at The Octagon in Norwich, beautiful, light, bright and spacious. Despite the grey and cold weather there was great light to work with and lots of opportunity for different vantage shots. The church dressed for Christmas this colourful and light church gets the thumbs up from me.
The Couple Shots
With the darkening skies beckoning we were limited but then again not every couple wants to be taken away so we made use of the church and venue. One of the must have shots was one of them with Norwich Cathedral was in the background.
Wedding Breakfast & Party Time
The Great Hospital is steeped in history and the main hall is certainly a delight to the eye. To greet Nikki and Daniel to the venue was a drummer and bagpipe musicians! This was followed by surprise snowball fight. The evening was also accompanied by freshly made stone fired pizza’s and to keep the atmosphere going pub games were laid on for all to participate!
Thanks to Nikki and Daniel. An absolute wonderful day!
