I was more than happy to be the Norfolk Wedding Photographer for Alice & James’ wedding!
I first met James when he came to our rescue as an arborist to help in taking care of some trees at our Suffolk home.
St Mary’s Church, Coney Weston is where they were married and it was just perfect – a truly heartwarming ceremony. Alice, a teacher, had given me a history lesson on the church as it lay away from the main village. Back in the day of the Black Death the village surrounded the church. However, due to the disease the village was burnt down and moved a distance, hence the church being located away from today’s village!
The village church was so beautiful. The most gorgeous natural light flooded the church ceremony and made the day that little bit special! We then travelled to Bressingham Hall, situated in the secluded Norfolk/Suffolk border countryside. A simply beautiful, English Grade II listed mansion positioned amongst the world renowned Bressingham Gardens. Within the gardens were the “gallops”, a fun fair ride which guests were invited to join. The reception was held in the adjacent old barn, elegant and stylish, an impressive, traditional brick and stone building with high ceilings and exposed beams. It creates a warm and welcoming environment for the bridal party! This is a very romantic Norfolk gem!
It was a truly fun and warming wedding – which will always be one to remember.
A huge congratulations to Alice & James!
