Some of the stunning Norfolk Wedding Venues I have had the privilege to photograph.
Introduction:
Being a Norfolk Wedding Photographer is one of my greatest joys. There are countless places that have a little touch of enchantment. Norfolk’s venues, from the formal to the intimate, are where I’ve felt so much delight.
Red Barn
The Red Barn is a unique sixteenth century oak beamed barn set in the heart of West Norfolk. I have been fortunate enough to photograph a few weddings there and every time it has been extraordinary.
The Red Barn has traditional Norfolk red brick walls surrounded by giant oak timbers which support the spacious red roof. You could be considering a traditional wedding or perhaps a theme and this Norfolk barn could be styled to perfection to cater your needs.
Hush Venues
Deep in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, Hush venues sit right at the top of the valley in the Broads National Park. This area is naturally outstanding and only a stone’s throw away from Norwich.
I have been lucky enough to work for one couple amongst this magical venue in a small perfectly formed woodland. Tying the knot at this beautiful venue is all about creating your very own unique wedding in a wild and natural setting.
The Old Rectory, Crostwick
The Old Rectory is set within rural Norfolk which is the perfect location to hold the best day of your life. The beautiful conservatory restaurant makes an excellent reception venue and they can offer everything you need. Its stunning ceremony room with a high vaulted ceiling and views of the gardens makes an ideal setting for any type of wedding.
The Octagon
The traditional unitarian Octagon Chapel is situated very close to central Norwich. It is such a beautiful chapel with lots of space and amazing light which made my photographs look fabulous.
I believe that couples are welcome to construct their own ceremony and write their own vows that reflect their own beliefs – this gives them a lot of freedom in that sense!
Holkham Hall
Holkham Hall is an eighteenth-century country house found on the north Norfolk coastline. Whichever way you look, this place captivates the heart and mind. It has to be one of the most elegant and beautiful wedding venues in Norfolk. There are endless possibilities for spectacular events with their breath-taking landscapes, grand interiors and sparkling lakes.
Holkham specialises in one-of-a-kind celebrations that inspire creativity and also the highest levels of service. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to photograph a couple near to Christmas time. The backdrops of Christmas lights looked spectacular as well as the beautifully decorated trees – all very festive!
Morston Hall
Morston Hall is a cherished country house with its origins in the seventeenth century. It is situated two miles away from Blakeney by the north Norfolk coast. Celebrate your special day in their garden conservatory or outside surrounded by nature and the Norfolk countryside. You can follow on with a magical evening in their Michelin-starred restaurant which I can vouch for – a perk of the job as a Norfolk Wedding Photographer.
The Dial House
The Dial House is a market town restaurant situated in the heart of Norfolk. They have won a few awards such as “the romantic hotel award” and “the quirky hotel award”. If you want to ensure your party is a unique one-off, this venue is proud to offer their services.
Chaucer Barn
Chaucer Barn is one of the most honoured wedding venues in Norfolk. Situated in Gresham, it makes a year-round perfect choice that can cater for both small and larger weddings. As a Norfolk Wedding Photographer, Chaucer Barn offers a large scope for wedding photography. No matter what time of year it is, this place has a backdrop that any wedding photographer could only dream of.
Dunston Hall
Live out your fairy-tale dream wedding at Dunston Hall set on 150 acres of land as you say ‘I do’ in a beautiful setting. Thanks to their stunning suites, marquee and grounds – it doesn’t matter what the time of the year is, a wedding here will work for you.
There are plenty of picturesque shots here such as a balcony, back gardens and the extraordinary main staircase.
Cley Windmill
Cley Windmill on the north Norfolk coastline is a unique gem. This place is definitely worth considering if you are looking for somewhere different with selected guests. The ceremony would take place in their round beautiful dining room They also offer a unique experience as well as a B&B and self-catering cottage. I always look forward to each and every wedding at Cley.
Hindringham Hall
Hindringham Hall is a beautiful moated manor. This was an extremely rare treat to work in such a gorgeous location. It is a grade two listed building dating back from the 1100’s. It is also set amongst beautiful gardens which are also open to the public during the summer months.
This venue holds a special place in my heart as I used to live in the village and I used to almost walk past the hall daily.
